My approach in the teaching environment is to create a safe and non-judgemental space.
I focus on helping individuals to feel free and uninhibited so that their creative and imaginative s'elf can be released.

I use several techniques in my body of work. My classes begin with centering exercises, guided visualizations and meditation to be relaxed and open. I provide exercises in solo and group development enhancing communication skills and social interaction.

My directives enhance the comfort and ease of "un-becoming"
and "be-coming" s'elf in the present.

In the area of special needs I have a wide range of teaching experience and skills. I can teach a particular needs group upon request. At this stage of my teaching career it is more growth producing to require the adult and/or guardian to assist. after I am introduced to the special needs population I may decide that the individual can participate unassisted. This would occur in an ongoing series of classes.

I am skilled with autistic individuals, learning disabled, physically challenged, speech impaired, blind, deaf and overactive. I also have worked with juvenile delinquents and runaways. If any of these areas are of interest to you I will provide more information.
