Informing The Future Intensive Project Proposal

Informing The Future started with a series of concrete
sculptures created by deerwomon and evolved
into the following outline for a production project.

This project is about a transmission,
something that we energetically impart
from ourselves to be received by others,
based upon the theme "Informing The Future".
The sculptures are the props for this project.

A CALL FOR ARTISTS
would be the protocol for this experiential project to be activated.

An artist is invited to view and experience the existing sculptures.
They can do this by visiting the Temple in Sarasota Florida
or view online at Deerwomon.com

Artists are asked to choose the sculpture that they feel most drawn to and moved by.
Then this sculpture becomes the designated sculpture for that artist throughout the project.
Artists will be guided in a variety of exercises including timed writings to assist in their experience of the sculpture. The artist is being asked to channel the energies of the art as well as unveiling their own expression aligned with the theme ÒInforming The FutureÓ.

Example of a Guiding question:
What inside of you is informing the future?
What expression of your spirit and art s'elf is imparting
a message, a transmission...
1st to yours'elf...then to those immediately surrounding you...then the greater whole,
the world...
and on to parallel universes, simultaneous realms...?

Each artist is asked to go on a personal journey
and uncover this theme within to then find
art-full and spirit-full expression.
All art expression is welcome!
Dance, song, word, poetry, recorded music, etc.
Each artist is essentially developing a solo piece
that ultimately will be woven with the other solos
to create an interactive ensemble piece.
This and the overall project score will be
directed by Deerwomon.

Each sculpture represents a coordinate position within the
understanding of sacred geometry.
This positioning is yet to be revealed.
Prayers, mudras, chants, tones...would enhance these
connecting points...
and other input is in-couraged.

There will be photographic enlargements
of the sculptures when working without the actual pieces.
However, any opportunity to have the hands on experience
of the sculptures is in-couraged.

An intimate environment will be established for inviting
friends and close ones to experience the transmissions.
These gatherings can happen as frequently as any or some or all artists
are ready to impart what they have arrived at and are ready to inform.
All is welcome as transmissions in progress.

There will also be a more public space made available
that intimates are welcome to be audience
and witness to the process at any given time.
This will be another environment to practice transmissions.
Invite intimates who can give feedback of the experience.
If an artist is not ready to present -
scores will be offered by Deerwomon to help
access the information.
All are in-couraged to present something.
Scores will be personalized as necessary
and ensembled when time.
Another power spot will be chosen
to experience the environmental differences.
This will be scheduled accordingly.

Live music, piano playing...will accompany these transmissions.
The music be-ing asked for is to channel the theme,
"Informing The Future", with interactive notes to movement,
words, art of any nature, etc.
The musicians will be in-couraged to participate
in same exercises and personal journeywork
to uncover the transmission through musical instruments.
Deerwomon will provide guidance and direction.

This project is not about a big production or performance.
It is about a transmission,
a message that each one of us will unveil,
first as solo artists/healers
and then as an ensemble.

All participants are in-couraged to attend
any contact/improv classes be-ing offered
by Deerwomon at the time of this project.


This project would include an art exhibition of the sculptures.
The preferred environment would be outdoors.
Artists would be invited to contribute their transmissions.


This project requires commitment.
The project is offering a focus and a discipline
to delve into s'elf and emerge
through artful expression.
This project would be best thought of as an Intensive.
It will most certainly create an intimacy as an ensemble.
We will spend a considerable amount of time together.

Another component of this project is the interactive Internet.
The sculptures would be made available via www.deerwomon.com
Through this site artists would be asked to spend time
with their designated sculpture.
Ongoing notes, inspirations, will be asked for
via the page and/or email.
I would also set up an ensemble chat room
where we can come together and spirit-storm/inspire
each other in our un-covering art forms.
Allotted time will be needed for this contribution.
Chat room times will be decided once artists have gathered.
