Chakra Score deerwomon©2003

Begin with "sit position", backs aligned, top of head stretching to sky/cosmos and the bottom of your spine, the tail bone reaching deeply into the earth. Let the legs and toes extend from the spine like the roots of a tree also reaching deeply into the earth.
Breathe...breathe deeply, breathe with body relaxed. Breathe bringing breath up through the soles of your feet and the bottom of your spine. Breathe all the way to the top, center point of your head. As you reach the top point let the breath swirl in a circle and begin the exhale spiraling back down the spine, back into the earth.
Repeat this several times feeling the energy and your body expand.
Following the same path breathe into the 1st chakra, the root chakra, the base of your spine and genitals. (There is a color that goes with each chakra, that could be added here.) As you bring the breath into this chakra swirl the breath around this area just like you did for the head area. As you swirl the breath invoke the intention of clearing the chakra, bringing balance and harmony. Then in the exhale return the same prayer to the earth, bringing the mother balance and harmony... returning the favor so-to-speak.
It's important that while you give the mother your prayer you maintain the prayer given to s'elf. In otherwords don't empty yourself of what you just energized. Share the love.Cabish? smile

Now bring the breath to your second chakra, the seat of the emotions and your sexuality. This is the belly and pelvic area. Bring the breath up through the root chakra and to the second chakra, swirl the energy in a clockwise circle, invoke balance and harmony, Exhale with prayer to share.
3rd Chakra, this is the solar plexus, our power center. Repeat same exercise.
4th chakra, this is the heart area. Repeat exercise bringing breath higher. Each time a chakra is added it becomes included and connected in the path of breath.
5th chakra, this is the throat, communication chakra. Repeat exercise.
6th chakra, this is the third eye, the psychic center. Repeat exercise.
7th chakra, this is the top of the head, the crown chakra, the spiritual center. Repeat exercise.
8th chakra, go slightly above the crown, about 8 inches above the head, this is the cosmic center, our galactic worldly s'elf. Repeat.
Now breathe completely with awareness of all chakras and all as connected.

Lie on your backs. Relaxed. Without much thought touch a part of your body. Ask your body what color is it? Identify the chakra you are touching. Allow the sound of that body part to become vocal. Allow the color to ride the vocal. (If you had assigned a color to the chakras in earlier exercise it is ok if the color you received is different, just accept the color you receive.)
After the vocal is established allow the movement to begin and to travel.
Then follow the next part of your body that is calling, repeat the exercises until all chakra body parts have called out. In each of these instances allow your sounds and movements to unfold holding the awareness of that chakra be-ing the guide. Make mental notes of any sensations or imagery that may occur during the process. complete the exercise.
Find a partner. Take turns talking about your insights and experiences.

Group Exercise, Circle
Beginning with focus on 1st chakra, each person as impulsed finds a movement and sound and enters circle. This is the root chakra dance. One or more can enter circle. Feel the connectedness of shared focus of root chakra dance. Repeat going through all the chakras.

Group Exercise
Each person takes one of the 8 chakras,(if not enough members choose consciously what chakras you want to work together and give it an intention, invocation), find the movement and sound of your assigned chakra, enter the circle, develope the solo chakra part first then begin to impulse and interact off each other completing the "whole".
...remembering the sum is allways greater than the parts and together you are all the chakras aligned.
Whoa! on this one...smile... Have fun!
